Simone Biles
In gymnastics, Simone Biles captured her 20th World Championship gold medal, as Team USA won its seventh consecutive world title in Antwerp Belgium on October 4. Biles is currently the best female gymnast in the history of gymnastics with 33 medals at international competitions including the Olympics. Three days earlier Biles landed a highly challenging vault that no woman has performed on an international scene. The vault was previously known as"the Yurchenko double-pike vault, this technique has now been named the Biles II. The 6th of October is when the world-record holder will compete in an all-around event for her own. This is her first competition in the world since the year 2021. Simone was born in Columbus, Ohio around 1997. Her mother was struggling with a drug addiction. Simone and her three siblings were removed from residence to foster care. Her maternal grandfather Air Force veteran Ron and his wife who retired as a nurse Nellie took over the charge of the children, legally adopting Simone at the age of 6 along with her baby sister Adria. Simone along with her other siblings were adopted by their great aunt.
